Where to place backups

Always try to keep your backups as far from their prototypes as possible.

If you have two physical hard disks, place the backups of files from the first drive to the second drive, and vice versa.

If you're connected to the network, place your backups on another computer.

If you have a CD/DVD recorder, export your backups to CD/DVD discs and take backups of your home files to your office, and vice versa.

If you have a FTP account in the internet, export your backups to FTP as well.

If you're worried about the security aspect of taking your backups out of home, please use the Strong Encryption feature (Project Properties->Advanced).
